Six Reasons to Work with Centric

Hiring a professional to help you get and stay organized, hold you accountable for reaching your financial goals, and proactively watch over your assets is vital for long term financial success.

While not an all-inclusive list, we have identified six key areas where we provide our clients with value.

Getting and keeping your financial house in order.

Do you ever feel like you have so many statements from so many different accounts that it’s hard to keep them all straight? Estate planning documents here. Investment confirmations there. Insurance policies in that cabinet. Bank statements on that website. You get the idea.

Wouldn’t it be nice if you could access, view, and manage all the aspects of your financial life in one simple way? We can help you make that happen!

Just as a personal trainer holds you accountable to your fitness goals, a financial professional holds you accountable to your financial goals.

That’s exactly what we do for our clients! We don’t make up your goals for you -- you choose your own goals. It’s just our job to coach you as you work toward those goals.

If you’ve ever tried to reach a fitness goal, you know how hard it can be to get up early, get dressed, and get to the gym. But if you have someone there waiting for you, it makes things so much easier. That added level of accountability can make all the difference. It’s why celebrities stay in such great shape. They have someone working on their meal plans, their workout plans, measuring their progress, and holding them accountable.

Having a partner who isn't emotionally involved in the situation can help cooler heads prevail.

Have you seen those cartoons where the heart is on one side and the brain is on the other as they argue about something? The heart is all feeling; the brain is all thinking, and the two just can’t come together. We see that so often when it comes to financial matters.

An adult child should learn to be independent but mom and dad just can't stop giving handouts -- even when it hurts them financially.

A stock is tanking in value and all the data supports selling it but the investor can’t let it go because they “just feel that it’s going to come back up”.

A “hot” stock has been soaring for months. The price-to-earnings ratio is off the charts and it’s definitely not the right time to buy. Yet, the investor buys it anyway because their golf buddy was bragging about it.

These are just a few examples of how emotion can cloud logic when it comes to financial matters. It’s when you encounter scenarios like this that help from a financial professional can be so valuable.

The best teachers teach from the heart and not from a book.

We completely agree with this statement because teaching is something that is near and dear to our heart.

You see, in identifying some of the top reasons why people should work with a financial professional, we discovered that we are an educator of sorts. We view it as our job to educate our clients about important financial and economic matters that have the potential to impact their life. We take great pride in this and derive deep satisfaction from sharing our knowledge.

While it is true that automated investing technology may be able to perform important functions (we use such technology for the benefit of our clients), it can never sit at a table with you and have a meaningful conversation. In this age of technology, we still value face-to-face interactions with real people -- from the heart.

Been there, done that.

We know that may sound arrogant, but we're not speaking about ourselves per se. This familiar expression highlights that we’ve all been to different places and have experienced different things. If we can say that we’ve “been there and done that,” it means we possess experience someone else may not. In truth, that could be said about each person on ths planet. We each have a unique breadth of experience.

Which brings us to the fifth reason we believe it is important to work with a financial professional:

Our breadth of experience is focused on helping families pursue their financial goals.

To illustrate the importance of this, we’d like to ask you which surgeon you’d rather have perform a major surgery on you?

A first-timer just stating out, or
A seasoned pro who has performed the exact same surgery hundreds of times?

The answer is obvious.

In a similar way, we believe our tenure working with so many families have broadened our experience to a superlative degree. We’ve helped our clients overcome many financial challenges, reach countless financial goals, and weather various economic environments. You could say that this experience has seasoned us and the quality of the advice we give.

We've got your back!

It’s a great feeling to know that a friend has our back, isn’t it? We’re sure you have someone like that in your life -- someone who is always there to assist you at a moment’s notice. We should all cherish friends and family like that!

We believe an area where it is vital to have someone like this is where financial matters are concerned. There’s no denying that how well we manage our assets has a major bearing on almost every area of life. Plus, we’re all busy! We have jobs, families, hobbies, and other things to manage. Who really has time to sit around and watch their finances all day?

Which brings us to reason six for working with a financial professional:  We work hard so you don’t have to. We proactively serve your financial needs so you can enjoy life without having to obsess over every cent. Let us do the obsessing!

Whether you’re still working to earn money or are retired and trying to enjoy what you’ve already earned, your time spent managing your assets will always be divided.

But our time is not divided.

We spend 100% of our professional time watching over what our clients have entrusted to us. It’s what we do. It’s all we do.

Six reasons why it's wise to work with a financial professional:

  1. To help you get and remain financially organized
  2. To hold you accountable for achieving your financial goals
  3. For objective input when making important decisions
  4. To receive education around key financial matters
  5. To benefit from the breadth of experience we’ve gained
  6. So you have someone proactively watching over your financial future

These aren’t all the reasons we can think of, but they’re definitely some of our favorites. No matter where you turn for financial guidance, you have a right to expect these things from your financial professional!

Our doors are always open to you.
