Victoria Cooper
Associate Wealth Advisor
Hi, I am Victoria Cooper and have been a Wealth Advisor with Centric since January 2018. I have a BA in Economics and French from Denison University in Granville, Ohio and a MBA focused in investment management from Rice University – Jones Graduate School of Business in Houston, Texas.
Prior to Centric, I spent over 10 years in dispute and expert testimony work providing economic consulting services. The first two years related to family law disputes where I traced assets and valued companies in divorce proceedings. The last eight years I worked in intellectual property and commercial damages analysis where I managed engagements related to patent and copyright infringement, misappropriation of trade secrets, lost wages, and breach of contract for various industries including oil and gas, medical device, biotechnology, construction, retail and consumer goods, financial services, Internet services, computer hardware and software, semiconductors, and telecommunications.
In addition, I have an extensive background in investments and investment management. Prior to receiving my MBA at Rice Business I worked as an analyst for a financial data vendor, sales assistant in institutional sales for an investment brokerage firm, research analyst for a hedge fund, and Chief Marketing Officer for the M.A. Wright Investment Fund, a student-run investment fund at Rice Business.
In 2017, I decided to switch careers for flexibility and to spend more time with family. As a graduate of Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University course (FPU) and coordinator of FPU courses at her local church, I started at Centric to help people get out of debt and accumulate wealth. I enjoy giving people hope and watching my client’s progress through their financial journeys.
